I’m Azhar, and I’ll be your host throughout this journey.
Born and raised in Denmark, with deep roots in Zanzibar, I’ve always moved between two worlds and ZHAR was born from that connection.
My relationship with the island isn’t from travel guides or brochures. It comes from family, culture, language, and the hidden corners most visitors never see.
After bringing some of my closest friends here and watching how the island changed something in them, I knew I wanted to create that experience for other women too.
Because this is more than a trip.
It’s Zanzibar experienced from the inside.
